Shona Jackson

Shona Jackson

Shona has lived her whole life in the Scottish Borders and has built a long and respected career in local hearing healthcare, an industry she discovered quite by chance.
With a background in textiles, design, and management, Shona demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit early on by establishing two local retail businesses at just 22. She later chose a new direction, embarking on a rewarding journey in audiology and qualifying as a Hearing Aid Dispenser in 2008.

Her dedication and expertise have been recognised nationally, having been “Highly Commended” in the Rayovac Audiologist of the Year Awards on three separate occasions.

Shona has been an active member of the Association of Independent Hearing Healthcare Professionals (AIHHP) for over sixteen years, and is also its’ membership Secretary. AIHHP is a professional body committed to promoting excellence across the UK hearing care profession.

Through her work with AIHHP, Shona has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the UK’s leading independent audiologists. This has allowed her to continuously develop her knowledge and maintain the highest standards of professional practice.

Shona truly believes that hearing aid dispensing is one of the most rewarding careers imaginable. Being able to make such a meaningful difference to people’s lives and to the lives of their families, friends, and colleagues is something she finds incredibly fulfilling.

She is passionate about the work she does and is delighted to be doing a job she loves. Shona looks forward to welcoming you in Gala.
